Furygan, a French company, has been known for their quality motorcycle clothing products for over 40 years. All Furygan leather jackets have been constructed from premium cowhide leather that has been specially sourced from South America and include CE approved armour as standard.

The leather of the Furygan Forty 3D Black/Red has been especially treated to make it water resistant and has a 3D bubble liner which is claimed to almost double the abrasion resistance of the garment, by creating less heat pressure on the leather in a slide. The softgrain leather construction of this jacket allows for ease of movement and makes it very comfortable to wear. In addition the jacket has a fixed thermal liner. The Furygan Forty 3D Black/Red also includes CE approved armour at the elbows and shoulder as well as a Furygan dorsal back protector, making this jacket perfect for use on the road.

The Furygan Forty 3D jacket is supplied with the revolutionary D30 gel armour at the elbow and shoulder (as seen on Dragons Den). CE certified D30 armour offers greater protection, whilst still being comfortable and lightweight and performing well in extreme temperatures. The functionality of the raw material used in D30 armour originates from the synergistic effects of the polymer based dilatants. Energy is distributed throughout the synthetic elastomeric polymer and the enhanced chemistry continues to distribute energy on throughout the matrix, significantly reducing the effect of impact.Compared to other armours the CE D30 armour is thinner and generally less bulky whilst still offering the same protection as traditional armour due to its unique gel construction. As a result jackets that incorporate D30 armour are far more comfortable to wear as the overall weight of the jacket is reduced. This means D30 jackets allow far greater freedom of movement, making them a more pleasurable experience to wear compared to traditional motorcycle jackets.
