Alpinestars SP-X Glove

For many years now Alpinestars have been making motorcycle gloves for some of the top Moto GP riders on the circuit. The performance, comfort and versatility offered by their gloves has been one of the contributing factors in making Alpinestars one of the most recognisable and successful producers of motorcycle gear on the market today. All their motorcycle gloves have been impeccably styled and offer lavish technical specs at an affordable price.

The Alpinestars SP-X is a high performance, lightweight, multi-purpose, glove which combines racing technology with road riding comfort and convenience.

Features of the Alpinestars SP-X motorcycle glove include:

  • Three-quarter length, full-grain leather and air mesh construction with synthetic suede palm with leather reinforcements for improved grip, comfort, protection and reduced weight.
  • Carbon Fiber knuckle protection, profiled for fit and impact dissipation.
  • Micro-injected finger knuckle protection with additional side palm and finger protection.
  • Leather reinforced thumb and EVA padded wrist protection.
  • Street styled, 3/4 glove design with extended wrist protection, designed to fit under jacket cuff to improve closure combination.
  • Velcro® wrist closure with TPR logo on upper wrist and Neoprene cuff for comfort.
  • Silicone printing on fingertips for increased grip.
  • TPR (thermoplastic rubber) logos and details with printed palm logo to improve comfort.

  1. Good design..... disappointing materials and construction.

I've owned two pairs of these gloves.
The first literally fell apart at the seams within weeks.
Alpinestars didn't rush to replace them, but the second pair did exactly the same....
I repaired them myself and sold them on ebay.
    Never will I bother again.
